Bengaluru man dies after being chased by angry driver who rams bike. Incident caught on CCTV

A motorcyclist was killed on Wednesday night when a car allegedly chasing him on the streets of Bengaluru rammed his motorcycle from behind. Police say the incident occurred after an argument between the two escalated into a road rage incident.

Video footage from a surveillance camera shows the car behind the motorcycle racing down a city street.

According to police, the two vehicles collided in the Vidyaranyapura district. The motorcyclist was seriously injured and succumbed to his injuries.

The police have filed a First Information Report (FIR) and arrested two persons in the case. Further investigation is on.

Road aggression is increasing in Bengaluru

Just days earlier, an incident of road rage occurred in which a biker attacked a couple's car and smashed the windshield while the couple screamed that they had a baby with them.

A video showing the man shouting at the couple as they attacked their car in the middle of a road in Bengaluru has gone viral on social media.

The motorcyclist was reportedly furious after the car turned left without using its indicator.

The angry biker tries to open the driver's door, then walks around the car and picks up a large rock, presumably to throw it at the car. A bystander snatches the rock from his hand.

Since the biker is unable to open the door, he shouts at the driver to open it. When the driver tries to drive off, the biker throws himself onto the hood of the car and breaks off a windshield wiper.

Despite people trying to stop him, he hits the windshield with the wiper, breaking the glass. The couple screams and a baby can be heard crying in the car.

Bengaluru City Police responded to the post by saying that police have arrested the biker and are investigating the case.

“Bengaluru City Police has arrested the culprit and brought him to the police station. We are waiting for further updates on the case! Thank you for the quick response,” said an update on the citizens' movement's X-Account.
