Video shows Mike Lindell's new “undercover” look for DNC

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell has shaved off his distinctive mustache to disguise himself for an “undercover mission” at this year’s Democratic National Convention (DNC).

Lindell, an outspoken supporter of former President Donald Trump and his unsubstantiated claims that the 2020 presidential election was “stolen,” showed off his new look in a short video shared to his X (formerly Twitter) account on Wednesday afternoon.

“Mike Lindell finally did it,” the post reads. “It's been 30 years since Mike shaved off his mustache. But in order to go undercover at the DNC and provide FrankSpeech viewers with undercover footage, he finally allowed a barber to shave off his iconic mustache with a razor.”

“FrankSpeech brings you the FIRST exclusive look at mustache-less Mike Lindell and his DNC disguise,” it continues, including a link to Lindell's FrankSpeech website.

In the 1:33 minute video, Lindell is seen sitting in a barber's chair and saying “Wow” to his freshly shaven face before standing up to “put on the rest of the disguise.” The pillow magnate then dons a disguise that appears to consist only of sunglasses and a white hat.

“We bought this at a hat shop here in Chicago,” Lindell says, putting on the hat and sunglasses and then asking, “How do I look?” Then a woman off-screen says, “You look as good as I imagined, baby,” and approaches Lindell to kiss her.

Lindell goes on to say that he hopes to interview people during the convention and promote his own upcoming event, which will feature a cross-section of Chicago Democrats who plan to vote for Trump after previously voting for President Joe Biden.

“We hope this is all worth it, folks,” he says. “I mean, we've got to go, we're going to go to the DNC. We're going to go there, we're going to do interviews, we're going to find people… I want to find the media.”

Newsweek asked Lindell for comment via text message on Wednesday.

Later Wednesday, videos streamed from inside the DNC suggested that Lindell's attempt to go undercover was anything but successful, as the Trump-loving businessman appeared to be openly speaking to attendees on his own behalf despite his disguise.

In a video that the liberal group MeidasTouch streamed on YouTube and later on YouTube, divided to X, Lindell is briefly seen debating election conspiracy theories with 12-year-old influencer “Knowa,” who, according to talk radio station WTMJ, is “the youngest invited participant to the 2024 DNC.”

“They just found 257,000 votes… missing from the 2020 election!” says an animated Lindell, pointing at Knowa.

“So your source is 'trust me, brother'?” Knowa replies. “You didn't give me any last names… You're talking nonsense!”

Do you remember later divided a picture of himself with a disgusted expression on his face while standing next to Lindell, with the caption: “Mike Lindell is here in disguise. Eat him up, people [face vomiting emoji].”
