Central Ohio high school football ticket prices released

In Central Ohio, the lights are almost back on Friday night.

And with a new law signed by Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine in July, Ohio school districts must charge less for student tickets than for adults and cannot charge more for tickets purchased in person instead of online – a contentious issue in high school sports last year. The law takes effect in October, but many central Ohio districts have already adjusted their prices.

The Dispatch has contacted several districts to learn what fees will be charged to attend games this fall, with prices ranging from $5 to $10.

Ticket prices for Central Ohio football games 2024:

Bexley City Schools: $7 for adults, $5 for students

Big Walnut Local Schools: $8 general admission

Canal Winchester Local Schools: $10 general admission

Columbus City Schools: $5 adults, $4 students

Dublin City Schools: $10 for adults, $8 for students

Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools: $10 for adults, student price to be announced
