15-year-old charged with murder of man who tried to sell AirPods – WFTV

SANFORD, Fla. – Sanford police said they have made an arrest in connection with a fatal shooting.

Investigators have charged 15-year-old Dra'shawn Williams with first-degree murder.

According to police, the shooting occurred on July 20 along West 3rd Street near Pomegranate Avenue.

Investigators said 22-year-old Brandon Leo drove to a residence and waited in the driveway with his truck to sell a pair of headphones.

According to police, at least two people Leo did not know approached his car, and as Leo attempted to back out of the driveway, someone shot him.

Officers arriving at the scene found Leo shot in his truck, which was partially submerged in a retention pond on 3rd Street. They said the vehicle was still in reverse when it landed there.

Sanford police obtained an arrest warrant for Williams on Wednesday, saying the teenager was already in custody on another charge.
