Call for an investigation into the preventable killing of a polar bear in Canada – One Green Planet

In a tragic incident at a remote radar site in Canada's Arctic region, a worker was fatally attacked by two polar bears, killing one of the bears. While this event is devastating, it raises serious questions about the measures in place to protect employees and the endangered polar bears that inhabit these regions.

The decision to kill one of the bears rather than use non-lethal means indicates a serious lack of preparation and consideration for conservation, particularly for a species that is considered globally threatened due to habitat loss caused by climate change. The death of the polar bear highlights a serious failure to act humanely and effectively in the management of wildlife.

Please sign this petition to call on the authorities to investigate this incident and take stronger protective measures for humans and animals!
