EastEnders shares first spoilers for Dean Wicks murder trial

EastEnders has teased major drama for the Six in the Dean Wicks murder trial in new extended spoilers.

The six have been trying to cover up Keanu's murder since Christmas. Linda killed Keanu to save Sharon's life.

After Keanu's body was discovered, the women managed to pin the crime on Dean and Linda gave a false witness statement to ensure he went down.

But from prison, Dean tries to clear his name. Bernie helps him by sending anonymous blackmail messages to get Linda or Sharon to back down.

Dean's murder trial takes place next month and it will be a tense time for Linda, who returns from rehab and has to give evidence as a witness – something she was terrified of.

Official teaser spoilers released by the BBC in the first week of September reveal that the Walford women are in for a lot of drama as the trial progresses.

In scenes broadcast on Monday, September 2Sharon, Stacey and Linda will all testify on the first day of court.

But it seems there are twists ahead, as over the course of the week the events of the trial will have a huge impact on the Six and they will be forced to “fight for their freedom.”

Other Walford residents who are in on the big secret will also pitch in and escalate the situation while Johnny and Phil work together to “find a solution.”

Will the Six's crime remain secret or will the truth come to light?

Elsewhere in Albert Square, Chelsea is searching for answers after the crush at Peggy's, and the Slaters are celebrating Charli's first birthday – while Stacey takes the stand herself.

The Six continue to struggle with the aftermath of Dean's trial as they continue to fight for their freedom.
