Bronx: 3 teenagers stabbed after fight on playground

Three teenagers were stabbed to death after a fight on a Bronx playground on Wednesday.

Three teenagers were stabbed in the heat of a fight that broke out at a playground in the Bronx in New York City on Wednesday, authorities said.

According to PIX11 News, the incident occurred around 6 p.m. local time on Prospect Avenue.

Those injured in the fight include a 15-year-old boy who suffered a laceration to his back, a second 15-year-old boy who was stabbed to the upper body and a 16-year-old boy who was stabbed to the left thigh.

It is unclear what sparked the fight that eventually turned into a stabbing at Prospect Playground.

The investigation is ongoing.
