Charlotte Douglas Airport concourse flooded after construction incident – WSOC TV

CHARLOTTE — Fighting through crowds at Charlotte Douglas International Airport can be tough enough, but Concourse B presented an added challenge Thursday morning with a flooded hallway.

A viewer shared a photo of the flooded aisle near the B Gates on Thursday. Passengers didn't have much room to avoid the large puddle as they walked through.

CLT officials told Channel 9 that a “construction incident” resulted in “significant amounts of water” disrupting passenger flow in Concourse B. They did not provide further details on what happened or what type of water line was broken.

Officials said the Charlotte Fire Department was at the airport to assist.

We will update this article when more information becomes available.
