Arden Key of the Tennessee Titans misses training due to thigh injury

Tennessee Titans coach Brian Callahan gave an update on edge rusher Arden Key after practice Thursday.

Key, who was absent from the field at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park, suffered a minor thigh injury and was unable to participate in practice.

“I don't think it's bad. Hopefully he'll be back next week,” Callahan said after practice.

Key, 28, is entering his second season with the Titans and seventh season in the NFL. Last season, he had six sacks and four tackles for loss for a total of 30 tackles.

At the start of training camp, it was reported that Key would be suspended for six games for violating the league's doping policy. This week, that report was updated to say Key won his appeal with the league and will not be suspended. Key has been practicing with the Titans throughout the suspension.
