The backstage incident between MJF and Britt Baker was completely blown out of proportion

Will Ospreay tries to set the record straight on recent reports of a behind-the-scenes feud between MJF and Britt Baker.

Earlier this month, it was reported that a backstage confrontation between MJF and Britt Baker resulted in Baker being briefly suspended from the company. The report noted that Ospreay and Baker spoke backstage later that night following the incident.

Will Ospreay of All Elite Wrestling recently met with Joseph Staszewski of the New York Post. When asked about the incident between Britt Baker and MJF, Ospreay said he did not know what exactly was reported, but believed the whole situation had been completely blown out of proportion.

“[It’s] “This is the most over-the-top thing I've ever seen in my entire life,” said Will Ospreay. “I'm just trying to bring people together as a team. That's all I can say about it. I'm fully aware that people don't like each other backstage. I know there are people backstage that I don't like. My point is that we all need to be a team going forward. We all need to look out for each other.”

Will Ospreay will challenge MJF for the AEW American Championship later this month at All In.
