Vancouver Rental requires you to collect leaks for $3,150 per month

A Vancouver rental listing is gaining popularity on TikTok because the owner or landlord made an inquiry about leaks.

It is a two-bedroom sub-penthouse that is said to be in excellent condition.

However, some important information will be listed later in the post as the unit has two holes in the ceiling through which water will enter when it rains.

You have to collect the water in buckets”, it says in the list.

Fortunately, the generous landlord provides the future tenant of the apartment with buckets to collect the water, “so that neither the floor nor your belongings are damaged”.

According to the listing, extensive repairs need to be done to the side walls and roof of the unit.

“After these are done, the repairs to the living room ceiling will be carried out.”

The ad later states: “Immediately upon completion of these repairs, the unit will be offered for sale.”

It does not tell the tenant what condition the apartment will be in when it is sold.

The lease is month to month and the apartment will be available sometime in the last week of September.

Here's the moment someone on TikTok spotted the wild listing:

In the video, TikTok's main user and friend can't help but laugh hysterically at the content of the listing.

Also, apparently you have to “pick up pieces of ceiling that fall off due to water leaks.”
