Man arrested for allegedly killing another man in a fight

A man has been arrested on suspicion of killing another man during a fight in Pittsburgh on Tuesday morning.

Police responded to the 2200 block of Railroad Avenue at 6:37 a.m. for a reported physical altercation between two men.

The officers found an unconscious 65-year-old man with severe facial injuries. Despite life-saving measures, the man was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

Several witnesses provided descriptions of the suspect that matched video evidence collected at local stores.

Officers searched the area and located and arrested 28-year-old Billy Ray Darby Jr., a homeless man from Pittsburg. Detectives are investigating what led to the altercation.

Authorities are not releasing the victim's name until next of kin have been notified.
