IN LATE JUNE, TWO CHILDREN, AGED FOUR AND SIX, WERE RESCUED BY RESCUEMEN AT WILL ROGERS AQUATIC CENTER. THESE CHILDREN WERE SEEN MOTIONLESS UNDERWATER WITH THE ASSISTANCE OF A CUSTOMER. I WAS TOLD THAT THE LIFEGUARDS WHO sprung into action to rescue these children were only 16 and 21 years old. OUR LIFEGUARD WHO WAS ON THE STAND WATCHED IT. IT WAS HIS FIRST SEASON. HE HAD BEEN IN THE WORK AREA FOR FOUR WEEKS WHEN IT HAPPENED, SO HE WAS OFF
