Newark woman charged with threatening others with gun – Finger Lakes Daily News

lice arrested a Newark woman after she allegedly threatened others with a handgun. Officers arrested Nicole Bethea near Church and Hoffman Streets. The complainant showed police where Bethea allegedly hid the handgun, and officers recovered a .380 caliber handgun.

An investigation revealed that Bethea threatened to shoot several people while in possession of the gun, and that the incident occurred in the presence of children and while an order of protection was in effect.

Bethea, 43, was charged with menacing and four counts of endangering the welfare of a child and was taken to the Wayne County Jail following her arraignment.
