Rochester man arrested for shoplifting in Victor

A Rochester man was arrested Wednesday evening after allegedly stealing merchandise from a store in Victor.

Brandon S. Brazak, 27, who is currently homeless, was taken into custody by the Ontario County Sheriff's Office around 5 p.m.

Authorities allege Brazak attempted to leave the store with $520 worth of merchandise without paying. He was charged with petty theft and released with a summons.

Brazak is scheduled to appear in Victor Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
