Houston double shooting: Man enters IHOP after being shot near I-45, Crosstimbers

HOUSTON – Houston police are apparently investigating a double shooting in the area of ​​I-45 and Crosstimbers early Friday morning.

According to Lieutenant Willkens of the Houston Police Department, a man in his 30s stumbled into an IHOP with a gunshot wound to his side. Another man was found shortly afterward at a bus stop with a gunshot wound to his upper body.

Willkens says both men appear to be homeless.

Both victims were taken to hospital and are expected to recover.

Police believe the shootings are related and occurred near the overpass at I-45 and Crosstimbers. Willkens says the suspect may have been in a silver car.
