Neil Young releases “Official Release Series Volume 5” albums on single CD and vinyl – 100.7 FM – KSLX – Classic Rock

In July Neil Young published the fifth part of his Official Release Serieswith four remastered albums. Now he's offering fans another opportunity to get their hands on these records.

The four albums in the set included the 1989 album Freedomincluding the Young classic “Rockin' In The Free World”; 1990s Ragged Glory; and two albums from 1991: the live album welding and the companion Bowdescribed as “a 35-minute burst of feedback, improvisation, guitar solos and vocal fragments.”

Starting October 4th, you no longer have to buy all four albums as a set, but Young will release each album individually on vinyl and CD. The release of the box set was the first time that all of these albums were remastered for vinyl, and it was Bow's first time on vinyl ever.

All four albums are available for pre-order now. In addition, the albums are released as high-resolution digital audio files by Neil Young Archives and most digital service providers.
