Sources – Keyshawn Davis and Gustavo Lemos finalize fight in November

Keyshawn Davis and Gustavo Lemos are finalizing a contract for a lightweight bout on Nov. 8 at Scope Arena in Norfolk, Virginia, sources told ESPN on Friday.

The fight is a homecoming for Davis and will headline Friday's edition of Top Rank Boxing on ESPN.

Davis, a Tokyo Olympic silver medalist, will face his toughest opponent yet in Lemos. Davis, 25, is ranked No. 5 by ESPN in the 135-pound division. Davis (11-0, 7 KOs) is coming off a 10-round decision victory over Miguel Madueno last month.

Lemos (29-1, 19 KOs) is way above that level. The 28-year-old from Buenos Aires suffered a controversial point loss to junior welterweight contender Richard Hitchins in April.

Lemos will return to the 135-pound division for the Davis fight. Lemos' best win was a fifth-round TKO over former champion Lee Selby in March 2022.

Davis will fight for the third time in 2024. In February, he earned a sixth-round TKO victory over former champion Jose Pedraza.
