I understand having disagreements with your parents, all kids go through that, but when a teenager hatches a plan to have her mother killed, that's a whole different story.

Parents and their children will have different opinions

Growing up, my parents and I often disagreed on certain things, and it made me angry.

I remember once in elementary school telling my mom I was going to pack up and leave because I was angry about something. My mom saw through my bluff and packed my small suitcase for me, but I didn't want to go.

I also didn't grow up in an abusive household, so that kind of anger was never passed down to my sister and I because our parents weren't like that. I knew other kids who said things to their parents that I would never have gotten away with, but my friends or I never plotted to kill one of our parents because we didn't get our way or were angry.

14-year-old girl from Michigan planned to murder her mother

It's crazy to think that a teenage daughter was so angry at her mother that she planned to have a 17-year-old boy kill her.

According to WXYZ, the 14-year-old daughter conspired with a 17-year-old boy to strangle the girl's mother. The boy attempted to strangle the mother but was confronted by someone, so he fled the scene.

The mother survived the attack and is expected to make a full recovery. Meanwhile, Macomb County District Attorney Peter J. Lucido plans to try the teens as adults. Lucido said, “When you commit crimes as an adult, you face adult consequences.”
