Sabrina Carpenter and Jenna Ortega kiss in the music video “Taste”

Sabrina Carpenter’s latest music video leaves us screaming for more.

The singer released her sixth studio album, “Short 'n' Sweet,” on Friday along with the music video for her single “Taste” featuring “Wednesday” actress Jenna Ortega.

The track is about Carpenter's discovery that her ex is back together with his old flame (Ortega), and a bloody fight ensues between the two vixens.

“I heard you guys are back together, and if that's true/ Then you've got to taste me when he kisses you,” the 25-year-old belts out in the chorus. “If you want eternity, I bet you do/ Then you know you'll taste me too.”

In the music video, Carpenter is seen sneaking up on Ortega to attack her with a knife before realizing that the “Beetlejuice” star isn’t comfortable in bed after all.

The 21-year-old Ortega is ready to go: he enters the bedroom with a shotgun and shoots the singer over the balcony.

Later in the video, Carpenter lets out her inner “Psycho” and storms into the bathroom to confront the actress and the mysterious man in the shower.

Although Ortega successfully chopped off her opponent's arm, Carpenter swears she will come back.

A bloody fight ensues between the leading actresses before it takes an unexpected turn and the young Hollywood starlets kiss passionately.

In the end – SPOILER alert – it is the friend (played by “Halloween” actor Rohan Campbell) who dies, after which Carpenter and Ortega go to his funeral together, become friends, and leave drinking milkshakes.

Fans flocked to the comments section to share their thoughts, with one viewer writing: “The kiss, the outfits, the plot, oh my god I think we found a winner guys.” A second user said: “I didn't know Sabrina was into horror but her doing a horror music video with horror princess Jenna is absolutely iconic.”

Horror fans around the world rejoiced, with one follower commenting, “As a horror movie fan, I love all the iconic references!! Also, we can't ignore how iconic it was to have our current scream queen, Jenna Ortega, in the music video. I LOVED IT!”

Carpenter told Variety earlier this month that “Short 'n' Sweet” is “the hot big sister” to her previous album, “Emails I Can't Send.”

“It's my second 'Big Girl' album,” she gushed. “It's a companion, but it's not the same. In terms of having full creative control and being a full-fledged adult, I would consider this a second album.”

And what is the inspiration for the sound of Carpenter's latest work? She puts it this way: “I love the faces of the 60s and 90s – old Hollywood, flirty and fun. That's definitely the mood of my album.”

The hitmaker believes it was the right decision to keep the songs secret until the album is released.

“I'm so glad I finished this album before the songs came out,” Carpenter told the station. “Not that I thought I would have [the singles’ success] in my head. But I really believe that sometimes you can't help but write from a different perspective after experiencing certain life events. I try not to call it 'my dream album' because I don't think I could have thought of this collection of songs a few years ago.”

In the meantime, Carpenter is ready to tour her music.

The Sweet 'n' Sour tour begins its North American leg on September 23 in Columbus, Ohio, before reaching the UK and Europe in 2025.
