A multi-vehicle crash at Sherman Boulevard and Villard Avenue on Milwaukee's north side is causing heavy traffic, particularly south of Villard Avenue, where police have cordoned off several blocks. At least three vehicles sustained significant damage and emergency responders took two people to the hospital. Sources told 12 News they are actively searching for a suspect who fled the scene of the crash and may be armed. Officers, including sniffer dogs, are combing the area of ​​Sherman Boulevard south of Villard Avenue. Firefighters continue to clear debris, including tires, wheels and vehicle parts.
