According to eCourts, Kellam was originally arrested on April 17 following an incident on March 12.

He was accused of assaulting a woman, assaulting an unborn child and damaging property.

Kellam posted a $25,000 secured bond on June 6, paying $800 and promising to pay the remaining $1,700. Typically, one pays about 10% of bail to get out of jail.

According to the indictment, he attacked Brittany Colville by punching her in the face and kicking her several times in the stomach.

According to a report in the Sanford Herald, he was arrested again on July 20 for violating his probation.

Kellam is scheduled for an administrative hearing on the misdemeanor charges on September 23, and another hearing on the obstruction of justice charge on March 4, 2025.

He pleaded guilty under the Alford principle to burglary and two counts of theft of motor vehicle parts, all felonies, and was sentenced on August 14, 2023, to between eight and 19 months in the Department of Corrections.

An Alford plea does not admit guilt but acknowledges that the prosecution has enough evidence to convict.

He was ordered not to enter the victims' property.

He had previously been convicted 10 times in Lee or Harnett counties between 2010 and 2022, according to eCourts. These included cyberstalking, making threats, making false statements to police and aggravated possession of cocaine.
