40 pounds of meth seized in drug raid in San Jose

(KRON) – A major drug bust in San Jose ended with the arrest of a convicted felon after a thorough investigation by the Alameda County Narcotics Task Force.

The Alameda County Sheriff's Office said officers executed a search warrant on a home on Rockaway Drive on Tuesday and discovered a massive haul, including over 40 pounds of methamphetamine, 150 grams of fentanyl pills, nearly 200 grams of cocaine, oxycodone, MDMA and a loaded Glock .45 pistol.

In addition, investigators seized over $22,000 in cash.

The suspect, accused of drug trafficking throughout Alameda County, was taken into custody and booked into the Santa Clara County Jail on numerous charges, including drug trafficking, possession of a controlled substance and illegal possession of a firearm.
