Revanth Reddy’s old video for “N Convention” goes viral

After many years of hesitation and uncertainty, the Telangana government has finally decided to build the N Convention Center, owned by Nagarjuna Akkineni.

The Revanth Reddy government has appointed HYDRAA to demolish this multi-acre building illegally occupying 3.12 hectares of the buffer zone and FTL area of Thammidi Kunta Lake. The demolition started early today and the building is being demolished.

In this context, a video of Revanth Reddy from his days as a TDP member started trending on social media.

In the video, Revanth questions the then KCR government: “It is a hard fact that Akkineni Nagarjuna claimed several acres of sea land to build N Convention in the heart of Hyderabad. This KCR government is determined enough to demolish the houses built by the poor in the name of illegal constructions but does not have the guts to attack Nagarjuna's building.”

“Perhaps Nagarjuna has close relations with certain people in the Cabinet which enables him to lead the N Convention. But nature will take its course and a time will come when positive action will be taken,” Revanth noted.

As Revanth mentioned that day, nature orchestrated a series of events that led to Revanth becoming the Chief Minister of Telangana. Within a year of assuming office, he completed the demolition work.

According to recent reports, it was Komatireddy Venkat Reddy who lodged a complaint against the N Convention with the concerned authorities. After a Cabinet Minister lodged a complaint, positive action had to be taken and the same happened today when the building was demolished.
