Before Apple's foray into AI, iPhone 16 launch and announcement date leaked

Apple has been tight-lipped about the planned date for the official launch of its new iPhone line, but now the date has been leaked by Mark Gurman, a well-known and highly credible Apple insider from Bloomberg.

Gurman recently wrote that Apple will hold its iPhone 16 launch event on September 10, which is in line with Apple's previous generation iPhone launch events, which have taken place sometime in the first two weeks of September for the past five years. In addition, Gurman revealed that Apple plans to make its iPhone 16 lineup available in-store and mailed to buyers on Friday, September 20.

It's not just the new iPhone lineup that will be announced, as the Cupertino company will also unveil its new Apple Watch Series 10, Apple Watch Ultra 3, Apple Watch SE 3, and AirPods 4. In addition to all this hardware, there will undoubtedly be some more explanations about Apple Intelligence and its debut with the release of iOS 18.

We can expect Apple to announce when certain Apple Intelligence features will be released, how they can be used with the new line of devices, and when iOS 18 in its various forms will be rolled out to all devices. According to a leak that surfaced last week, the iPhone 16 could come in a different color.
