Jamie Lee Curtis recently shared her frustration about Paparazzi Photos leaked during the filming of 'Crazy Friday,' the long awaited Consequence to 'Freaky Friday'. In response to the situation, Curtis Social Media to post one of the leaked photos herself. The picture shows her and her co-star Lindsay Lohan a warm embrace on the beach, a moment that should remain private until the film's publication.
Curtis expressed her disappointment, explaining that the film crew worked hard to keep the plot and key moments under wraps. Despite their efforts, the paparazzi managed to capture and distribute images that, while they didn't reveal anything essential about the story, disrupted the creative process. Curtis acknowledged that since the images were already circulating, she would share one to highlight the joy and fun she and the cast experienced during filming. She assured fans that the positive energy felt on set would lead to a great experience when the film hits theaters next year.
In her post, Curtis also stressed the importance of watching films in the cinema, where people can come together and experience a story together, with laughter, tears and of course popcorn. She expressed her joy at the release of the film and tagged Lindsay Lohan and Disney Studios in her contribution and underlines her enthusiasm for the upcoming Cinema debut.
Curtis and Lohan both recently celebrated the completion of the film. Curtis called Lohan the “ULTIMATE movie daughter,” while Lohan expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to work on the film. Lohan said the story is about family, love and laughter, and mentioned how special it was to work with Curtis, who brought joy to the set every day.
The film, which will be released next year, will reunite Chad Michael Murray, Mark Harmon, Christina Vidal Mitchell, Haley Hudson, Lucille Soong, Stephen Tobolowsky and Rosalind Chao. Newcomers Manny Jacinto, Sophia Hammons, Julia Butters, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan and Jordan E. Cooper will also join the cast. The film is directed by Nisha Ganatra and written by Jordan Weiss.
