Gasoline prices in Los Angeles and Orange County rise

The average price for a gallon of regular gasoline at self-dispensing stations in Los Angeles County rose six-tenths of a cent to $4.561 on Saturday.

The average price is half a cent lower than a week ago, 5.9 cents lower than a month ago and 79.6 cents lower than a year ago, according to figures from AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. The price has fallen by $1.933 since its record high of $6.494 on October 5, 2022.

The average price in Orange County rose 1.1 cents to $4,489. That's eight-tenths of a cent less than a week ago, 5.3 cents less than a month ago, and 81 cents less than a year ago. The average price in Orange County has fallen $1.97 since rising to a record high of $6,459 on October 5, 2022.
