2 prisoners found, 1 released after escaping from local prison

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Three inmates escaped from a Warren County correctional facility Friday night.

Warren County police are still searching for an inmate after three people escaped from the Community Correctional Center on State Route 63 in Turtlecreek Township.

The sheriff's office reports 26-year-old Isaiah Youngblood, 28-year-old Terry Akers and 45-year-old
Shaun Birgel, 18, escaped from a fenced-in area of ​​the facility around 9 p.m. They were last seen on foot near State Route 63 and I-75.

Akers and Birgel were tracked down and arrested by Middletown police before midnight, but Youngblood remains at large.

Authorities say Youngblood does not pose a threat to the public as far as they can tell. However, citizens are urged to report any sightings of him by calling 911.
