Man arrested for sexual assault in Colorado after multi-state chase in Jensen Beach

A man accused of sexually assaulting an unconscious woman in Colorado and filming the act was caught on the run by the Martin County Sheriff's Office (MSCO).

The MCSO said 33-year-old Justin Najdawi traveled through Arkansas, Texas, Alabama, Georgia and Florida while trying to evade an arrest warrant for sexual assault and possession of child pornography.

Working with the FBI's Rocky Mountain Safe Street Task Force, the FBI Miami/Ft. Pierce Bureau, and the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office (MCSO), they learned that Najdawi had rented a vacation home in Jenson Beach on Northeast Marguerite Street.

Officials reported that Najdawi left his vacation home Thursday evening to have dinner at a nearby food truck and encountered the MCSO Warrants Unit.
