Two people in hospital after boating accident in Pewaukee on Saturday

VILLAGE OF PEWAUKEE, Wis. – Three boaters were injured and two were taken to the hospital in an accident on Pewaukee Lake around noon Saturday.

According to Pewaukee Village Police, the boaters attempted to avoid a collision but eventually collided on the east side of the lake.

A 26-year-old driver was treated on site and did not have to be taken to hospital.

Two people in the second boat, a 61-year-old man and a 58-year-old woman, were taken to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

According to PPD, no one was thrown from the boats and alcohol was probably not the cause of the accident.
