Average gas price in Riverside County unchanged

The average price for a gallon of regular gasoline at the pump in Riverside County remained unchanged for the second day in a row on Saturday, at $4.443.

The average price is 2 cents lower than a week ago, 12.1 cents lower than a month ago and 80.8 cents lower than a year ago, according to figures from AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. It has fallen $1.93 since rising to a record high of $6.373 on October 5, 2022.

“Southern Californians planning a Labor Day road trip will pay less at the pump than they did last year,” said Doug Shupe, communications manager for the Automobile Club of Southern California.
