In Killeen, Gasbuddy.com users reported Saturday that the cheapest regular gasoline was being sold for $2.66 per gallon at the Walmart Neighborhood Market at 2900 Clear Creek Road. The Walmart Neighborhood Market at 2900 Clear Creek Road also sold diesel at the cheapest price in Killeen on Saturday, at $2.83 per gallon, according to GasBuddy.com users.

In Harker Heights, gasoline was also selling for $2.65 per gallon at HEB at 601 Indian Trail on Saturday, according to GasBuddy.com users. The lowest price for diesel in Harker Heights was reportedly $2.82 at Sam's Club at 600 W. Central Texas Expressway.

In Copperas Cove, the cheapest regular gasoline was at HEB, 2990-A E. Highway 190, for $2.83 a gallon, GasBuddy.com reported. Diesel was also sold at Chevron, 2101 E. Highway 190, for $2.95, according to GasBuddy.com users.

According to GasBuddy.com, the cheapest gasoline in Fort Cavazos was $2.73 per gallon at Valero & AAFES at 1002 761st Tank Battalion Road. Diesel was also $2.85 at Valero & AAFES at 1002 761st Tank Battalion Road.

According to AAA, the national average price for a gallon of regular gasoline is $2.95, which is 49 cents cheaper than a year ago.

The national average price for gasoline is $3.36 per gallon of regular, which is six cents cheaper than last week, according to the AAA website. It's 48 cents cheaper than a year ago.
