Crime: Twin tattoos and tailor's label important clues in the crime | News from Nagpur

Nagpur: Two tattoos on the arms and a tailor's label on the shirt are the only Notes that the police are trying to solve the murder of a man who lynched and dumped in the bushes of Aditya Nagar. The body had deep cuts on the head and face when it was found by police late Friday near a prestigious management college on the outskirts of the city. In the absence of clear video footage, cops are in the dark despite questioning 1,000 people in 24 hours.
The letters “TK” tattooed on the right arm and “S” on the left arm were photographed and shown to residents of neighboring areas within a 10 km radius, but the police had to make desperate efforts to make a decisive breakthrough.
According to sources, there was some hope due to the tireless efforts of the police teams after a resident of Bhandewadi slum claimed to have seen someone with a tattoo like a week ago on the hands of the deceased. The man had been sleeping on the sidewalk, said the resident.
Since the puzzle does not fit together, six teams from Nandanvan, Hudkeshwar and Imambada police stations, apart from the Crime Branch and Wathoda police station, which registered the murder case, are showing photographs of tattoos to residents of other areas. Suspecting that he was a labourer, police questioned over 500 labourers at various construction sites and their contractors, including 180 who worked in the management college opposite the crime scene.
The tailor's label on the shirt was traced to Imambada and police tried to identify the man by displaying his photographs in adjacent areas.
