PTI threatens to attack Adiala prison: Musadik – Pakistan

ISLAMABAD (APP) – Petroleum Minister Dr. Musadik Malik on Saturday claimed that the Pakistan Justice Movement (PTI) has repeatedly questioned the state order and attacked the institutions in the past.

Speaking to a private news channel, he accused PTI leaders of threatening to launch another attack on Adiala Jail.

Musadik said it was the prerogative of the federal government to stop these mobs in order to protect the country from security risks.

Responding to a question about the parliamentary session and the proposed legislation, he said that under the current circumstances, changes were imperative to bring clarity to the Constitution.

He said Parliament had the prerogative and responsibility to bring clarity to ambiguous constitutional provisions through amendments from time to time.
