Avowed is a fun and action-packed RPG at Gamescom – Video

I'm here at games.com, and I just finished playing through the upcoming Xbox RPG Avowed. I'm standing in front of their booth now. And if you're a fan of Skyrim, pay attention, I spent about half an hour with the game. And while there are no specific character classes, the demo let us choose between builds similar to the rogue mage or the barbarian I chose. I wielded a sword and an axe imbued with ice magic. I did a side quest that required me to track down a missing relic and a group of warriors before learning that the person who sent me on the quest was going to betray me instead of talking to me. Instead, I chose to kill him. And that led to an optional boss fight where I was able to get away with his fire sword. The game is taking more shape and the dialogue was a lot funnier than I expected. AV is coming to Xbox and PC on February 18, and will be available on Game Pass on day one.
