Man dies in accident with farm truck in Corinth

The Penobscot County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal crash involving a farm truck in Corinth Saturday afternoon. Authorities said the crash was reported around 4:25 p.m. on Beans Mill Road near the intersection with Exeter Road. When officers and firefighters arrived, they found a large farm truck had left the road and entered the woods. The truck's sole occupant, a man, was pinned between the passenger side of the vehicle and a tree. Despite the efforts of advanced life support services, including LifeFlight of Maine, the man did not survive, officials said. The Sheriff's Office is leading the investigation and reconstruction of the crash with assistance from the Maine State Police Commercial Vehicle Unit and fire departments from Corinth and Kenduskeag.

The truck's sole occupant, a man, was pinned between the passenger side of the vehicle and a tree.

Despite the efforts of modern life support services, including LifeFlight of Maine, the man did not survive, officials said.

The Sheriff's Office is leading the investigation and reconstruction of the accident and is being assisted by the Maine State Police Commercial Vehicle Unit and the Corinth and Kenduskeag fire departments.
