PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A man is suspected of hitting several civilian and police vehicles while fleeing from police on Friday.

According to a criminal complaint, Damon Johnson rammed five cars, three owned by community members, and two unmarked police vehicles as officers attempted to arrest him.

Officers reportedly approached Johnson in the area of ​​Shadeland Avenue and Etola Street while attempting to serve a drug-related arrest warrant, after which he fled.

A damaged police vehicle was no longer drivable, according to a Pittsburgh Public Safety report. An officer in one of the vehicles was hospitalized for back and leg pain.

Johnson's car was later found abandoned on Colorado Street.
