DLCA's shopping cart survey encourages consumers to compare prices

The Division of Licensing and Consumer Affairs conducted a statewide basket of goods survey during the week of August 18, Commissioner H. Nathalie Hodge announced.

This survey helps consumers find out which stores offer the best prices on staples, regardless of brand. The number of items compared on each island differs due to guidelines that require identical items for a valid comparison, according to the press release.
