Police investigating shooting that left man dead in Seattle's Central District – KIRO 7 News Seattle

SEATTLE – Police are investigating after one person was killed in a shooting in Seattle's Central District.

On Saturday, Seattle police responded to a 911 call about a shooting at a residence in the 1800 block of South Jackson Street in Seattle.

When the police arrived, they found a 44-year-old man with numerous gunshot wounds and began first aid.

When the Seattle Fire Department arrived, they administered first aid and took the man to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition.

After all life-saving measures failed, the man was pronounced dead in the hospital.

According to police, an argument could be heard during the emergency call before the shots were fired.

Police are investigating the cause of the shooting and have handed the case over to the homicide squad.
