Viral video: How NRI's mother saved his life after gunmen entered his house

Sukhchain Singh, who was shot at in his house in Amritsar, is now out of danger, police said. A video showing the US-based NRI being rescued by his mother as the attackers entered the house has gone viral on the internet.

The viral video, based on CCTV footage, shows two men entering Sukhchain's house at around 7 a.m. as he was getting ready to go to the gym. The two accused stormed the house on the pretext of asking for the registration papers of his luxury car.

The duo fired two shots at Sukhchain Singh until his mother intervened and pleaded with the shooters not to kill her son. A child is also seen pleading with the duo to spare Sukhchain's life.

According to police reports, the attacker's gun jammed and would not fire. Despite this, his mother persistently tried to dissuade her from killing him, ANI reported.
