Watch: Musk's AI now turns him and Trump into armed robbers in new deepfake videos

Grok, the AI system of X-CEO Elon Musk, has now created realistic-looking deepfake videos of him during an armed robbery together with former US President Donald Trump.

A few days after Musk conducted a glitchy interview with Trump, his own AI technology, Grok, was used by people to create videos of both of them engaging in criminal activities.

AI visuals studio The Dor Brothers has created an AI deepfake video that portrays Musk, Trump, and many other heads of state as criminals.

The artificial intelligence chatbot Grok, developed by Musk's company xAI, was used to create the video showing Musk looting a supermarket at gunpoint.

In the AI-generated video, Musk can be seen in handcuffs that were taken from him by the police.

As a caption to the video, the makers wrote: “Someone said uncensored? Thanks @grok for bringing us all a little fun.”

Trump and Kamala Harris were also seen committing crimes in other generated videos.

This is how internet users reacted to the viral deepfake videos

Some social media users expressed concern about the realism of the video, wondering if there will come a time when it will be difficult to distinguish between deepfakes and real footage.

“AI has gone so crazy! Who knows what is real anymore,” wrote one user.

“So that's the scary part. No matter which side you're on, even if there was real video evidence of humans committing crimes, it can be dismissed as AI,” another user explained.

“This technology is getting better and better. Many people are easily fooled/manipulated,” wrote a third user.

“We opened the door and let this in,” commented a fourth user. “We are about 1 model update away from completely believable deepfakes,” argued a fifth user.
