Gold prices stabilize on the markets in Baghdad and Erbil

Shafaq News/ Gold prices remained stable in the Baghdad and Erbil markets on Sunday.

According to a survey by Shafaq news agency, the selling price of gold on Al-Nahr Street in Baghdad was IQD 531,000 per mithqal (equivalent to five grams) for 21-carat gold, including varieties from the Gulf region, Turkey and Europe, was IQD 526,000.

The selling price for 21-carat Iraqi gold was 501,000 IQD and the purchase price was 497,000 IQD.

In jewelry stores, the selling price per mithqal of 21-carat Gulf gold ranged from IQD 535,000 to IQD 545,000, while Iraqi gold was sold for IQD 505,000 to IQD 515,000.

In Erbil, 24-carat gold was sold for 605,000 IQD per mithqal, 21-carat gold for 530,000 IQD and 18-carat gold for 455,000 IQD.
