Viral TikTok by Sophie Knight shows hidden zoo behind Kent Pub

In a recent viral TikTok video, Sophie Knight took her followers on a unique journey to a hidden zoo behind a pub in Kent, England.

The discovery, which attracted widespread attention, was first reported by The Sun. Sophie stumbled upon the Fenn Bell Conservation Project in Medway, Kent, a pub that houses a secret zoo behind a hidden door.

In the TikTok video, Sophie explores the zoo and points out various animals, including ducks and cheetahs. She captioned the video: “Did you know about this pub in Kent? There's a zoo behind the house!”

The footage shows Sophie enjoying the lush greenery and interacting with the animals before heading to the pub for traditional snacks such as chips, chicken nuggets and baked beans.

In her caption, Sophie recommended the place, saying: “Worth a visit if you're in the area! A lovely country inn with a twist…” Fenn Bell Zoo is open all year round from 10am-5pm and costs £6 for children and £6.50 for adults. Visitors can book tickets in advance online or pay on arrival.

The video quickly gained attention and many users shared their own experiences at the zoo. One user reported a positive date experience at the zoo, while another praised the place as ideal for children and highlighted the friendly staff. Another user mentioned the opportunity to feed the animals, calling it a great place for children and adults. A former acquaintance of the zoo owner, Andy, recalled the early days when the enclosures were being built.

This isn't the first time a hidden pub has made headlines on TikTok. In 2021, a user named @theresapizzaaa revealed a secret pub hidden behind a door in her kitchen island, causing a stir on the platform.
