Police investigate Boston overnight shooting

One person was critically injured in a shooting Saturday night on Washington Street in Dorchester, police said. Officers responded to the reported shooting at 9:58 p.m. Police said the victim was seriously injured and homicide detectives were involved in the investigation. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment. No arrests were reported overnight in connection with the incident.
