Louisville police investigate two separate unaccompanied shootings

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Louisville Metro Police are investigating after two people hospitalized themselves following separate shootings Saturday night and Sunday morning.

Police learned of the first shooting around 11:30 p.m. when a man who had been shot in the leg entered UofL Hospital. The man is expected to survive his injuries. LMPD is still searching for the original shooting scene.

According to LMPD, calls about the second shooting came in around 8 a.m. when a woman entered UofL Hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg. She is also expected to survive. Police believe the shooting may have occurred at the intersection of 22nd and Market streets.
