Utah ranks first in the state's job satisfaction rankings

Recent data shows that Utah and Kentucky are the states with the highest job satisfaction, while Hawaii leads the way in worker dissatisfaction.

UTAH — According to a new study from AI productivity platform Plus Docs, Utah workers are among the least likely to quit in the U.S. in 2024. The study shows that Utahns are 49% less likely to quit than workers in other states, making Utah one of the most pleasant places to work in the country.

The study, which analyzed online search data for key termination-related terms such as “how do I quit my job?” and “termination letter template,” shows a significant contrast between Utah and other states. Daniel Li, CEO and co-founder of Plus Docs, commented on the findings, saying, “This campaign highlights the states most likely to see this trend in the coming months.”

While Utah and Kentucky are among the states with the happiest employees, Hawaii tops the list of states where employees are most likely to quit, with residents searching for quit-related terms 288 times per 100,000 people each month—79% more than the national average.
