Man stabbed to death in Bronx subway; suspect arrested

The suspect was identified after a man was stabbed following an argument on a New York City subway in the Bronx, New York police said.

Shane Cunnison, 37, was charged with manslaughter.

The stabbing occurred around 3 p.m. on the northbound 2 train in the area of ​​East 149 Street and 3rd Avenue in the Melrose neighborhood.

According to police, the two men were arguing when Cunnison stabbed 30-year-old Nigel Dumas in the chest.

Dumas was taken to Lincoln Hospital, where he died.

According to police, a knife was seized at the crime scene.
