Mumbai: A video has surfaced online showing a security guard slapping a scooter rider in a case of driving aggression. The video has gone viral on social media. In the footage, a man on an electric scooter can be seen obstructing traffic and forcing a car to stop in the middle of the road. This action caught the attention of a security guard riding in a military truck, who got out of the truck and slapped the scooter rider from behind.

The exact location of the incident is still unknown, and social media users are asking where it happened. The video shows the scooter rider, who has a green license plate, driving on the wrong side of the road. The incident was recorded by a car's dashcam. The car driver was driving on the correct side when suddenly the scooter came straight at him from the wrong side.

The car driver stopped his vehicle in front of the scooter, whereupon the scooter driver gestured to the driver to move aside. However, the car driver refused to move aside and blocked the path of the scooter. Security personnel then intervened, monitoring the situation from a truck on the opposite side of the road.

The security guard became angry at the scooter rider's behavior, so he stepped on the road barrier, approached the scooter rider and hit him on the helmet from behind. A heated argument ensued in the middle of the road. When the situation escalated and the scooter rider refused to move, the security guard returned to his truck, grabbed a stick and approached the scooter rider again.

Before the situation could escalate further, a traffic police officer arrived on the scene and prevented security personnel from hitting the scooter rider. The officer then ordered the scooter rider to move his vehicle. There are no reports of police action or fines against the electric scooter rider.

The video was shared on social media with the caption, “Satisfying videos in road rage version.” Netizens have been reacting to the video ever since it went viral. One user commented, “People need to come out of their 'sadak mere baap ki hai' attitude… These idiots really need such treatment.” Another user wrote, “Thanks to dashcams, people should be ashamed of doing such things. Hopefully we will see more such videos speaking out against undisciplined driving.”

Some users also questioned the actions of security personnel. One asked, “Is the army allowed to raise hand against civilians?” Another user advocated for stricter traffic enforcement, saying, “I am fully in favor of giving traffic police, including vigilantes who help at traffic lights, the right to baton violators. Make it a public offense that deserves immediate punishment. This nuisance and risk must be mitigated.”
