Police search for suspect in shooting near gas station in northeast DC

WASHINGTON (7News) — Washington DC police are searching for a person believed to be connected to a shooting that left a man injured near the Citgo gas station in northeast Washington DC on Saturday night.

Officers said they were called to the 3800 block of Minnesota Avenue on a report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.

The man was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, officials said.

A surveillance camera filmed the person suspected of being connected to the shooting, officials said.

Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to call them at 202-727-9099. A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered to anyone who provides information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible, officials said.
