Woman charged with first-degree murder after fatal stabbing in Baltimore County

TRENTON, NJ — This week's weather forecast for New Jersey calls for a mix of summer heat and isolated thunderstorms, with conditions varying in different regions of the state.

On Monday, skies will be partly cloudy and temperatures will reach around 30 degrees Celsius, while southern New Jersey may see isolated showers in the afternoon.

A significant rise in temperatures is expected on Tuesday. Maximum temperatures will be close to 32 degrees Celsius across the state. Humidity will be high and uncomfortable conditions may occur.

Through Wednesday, a cold front moving in from the west is expected to produce thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening, especially in the central and northern parts of the state. These storms could bring heavy rains, with localized flooding possible in areas with poor drainage.

There will be a slight drop in temperatures on Thursday, with highs around 27 degrees, as the cold front passes through, leaving behind partly sunny skies and lower humidity.

Friday will be the coldest day of the week, with temperatures ranging between 25 and 27 degrees across New Jersey and no significant precipitation. Things will warm up again over the weekend, with temperatures expected to be around 27 degrees on Saturday under mostly sunny skies, while Sunday will see another round of afternoon thunderstorms as humidity increases again.

According to the National Weather Service, residents should stay informed about developing weather conditions, especially on days when thunderstorms are forecast.
